| This project successfully realises the full potential of an industrial site within increasingly commercial surroundings. The new building consists of 3 structures with a total of 9 high quality and flexible light industrial units. Each unit has its own office space and loading bay. The overall area is 1,850 m².
The prominent entrance building helps to create a new ‘gateway’ into the small industrial estate and is a landmark ‘shop-front’ and symbol for the new development. The main building contains 6 units and the small wedge shaped building contains 1 unit. Pedestrian access is maintained along the landscaped side of the site and relates back to the nearby Aldi supermarket. Brick is used on the external walls because it is hard wearing and practical and helps to unify the buildings with a high quality finish. Parking is provided on site for 34 cars. |
